Seriously, it’s been a month since I posted about Samuel’s upcoming birthday party.  How did a MONTH go by already??

We had THAT party, and then another party last week for Martha (she turned two), and we’re going out to dinner tonight for ANOTHER birthday (sis-in-law). (And we have two more coming up in April – both A2 and A3).  (FYI – A2 is hubby, a.k.a Allan Jr; and A3 is lil Allan the 3rd).

Besides all the birthday busy-ness, I also flew to CA for a few days to see my sister and mom speak at a Ladies Day, AND to see my grandma.  It was a very, very busy few days, and I’m still recovering from that.  It was a great weekend, just non-stop activity, with a lot of emotion thrown in. (The theme for the Ladies Day was “Faith Through Trials”, and my mom and sister both spoke about their lives and trials).

In the middle of the birthday AND trip-going, I had to go fourteen rounds with the doctor’s office and insurance company because, get this… my doctor and her staff couldn’t FIND my sleep study results.  In fact, they couldn’t even figure out WHERE I had gone for my sleep study.  I sat for almost two hours in the office while they tried to figure that one out.  I’ll refrain from venting more here, because it’s all over now… but the jist of it is this:

1. First doctor – BAD

2. Insurance company – glad to take my complaint, but no help really in the big picture – except that they DID approve me for a new doctor

3. SECOND (new) doctor – GOOD

4. Sleep study center – at least they returned my phone call finally, AFTER the NEW doc had already taken care of the situation

5. Going next week to get my CPAP machine.

I can only hope this machine does what I’ve been told it will do.  I need sleep.  Good sleep.  Rest.  Energy.

Because really… the days are just going by TOO fast, and I can’t keep up!
