I just have to share a couple of pictures with ya’ll of my beautiful sister Sarah.
In case you are new here, here’s a little background info: Sarah is fighting stage-four breast cancer. She just recently finished up her fourth round of chemo, and is now gearing up to begin a new set of drugs, with a minimum of six cyles to endure over the next 5 months or so.
This last week, she and her husband celebrated 13 years of marriage. Well, they actually celebrated early, because their anniversary was the day AFTER her chemo treatment, and the day after is just NOT a good day for celebrating. So instead they went out of town a few days early, and they were able to relax, see some fun sights, and stay in a nice B&B in northern CA.
Here is my sis, standing by the “breast cancer” Snoopy in Santa Rosa, CA:
And here she is, looking gorgeous, in front of the very lovely ocean:
Thanks for sharing these with me… and please continue to pray for her, as we move on to the next stage of her fight!
Isn’t that the best name for a digi-scrap kit? Sherri Tierney always does awesome work, and the kit TOTALLY lives up to the name! Check it out…
The butterfly, the birds, the ribbon…. YUM is right!!
And look at the adorable Ethan Album hybrid pages she has too:
I totally want some GUM now, don’t you?? (I didn’t post them, but there are some FABULOUS quick pages available from this kit as well. Just click the images above or check out Sherri’s store to see all the offerings!)
Have you seen these? Sarah Meyer of SarabB Designs put together an entire set of Cookbook Quickpages, called Grandma’s Apron Cookbook Quick Kit.
I downloaded all of them yesterday, and can’t wait to get started building a cookbook to print. Now to just take PICTURES of all the items I plan to put in the cookbook! Aw, shucks - that means baking and making and cooking and stuff!
