It’s Bloggy Giveaway Time! Let’s Go “Clean and Simple”, shall we?
Wow, where did the time go? It’s already time for another Bloggy Giveaway!! YAY!
Last time, the giveaway was a fabulous book by Donna Downey, and that went REALLY well! So, I figured I’d repeat the idea, but pick a new author. Who did I choose?
Miss Clean and Simple herself, Cathy Zielske! Because I am nothing if not a “clean and simple” kinda digi-scrappin’ girl.
So, I am giving away TWO books - “Clean And Simple Scrapbooking: Ideas for Design, Photography, Journaling & Typography” AND “Clean and Simple Scrapbooking - The Sequel“.
See the covers… aren’t they pretty?
Aren’t you TOTALLY excited now?? I know I am!
Since I have TWO books, I’ll have TWO random winners. Just leave me a comment and tell me about YOUR scrapbooking style, and you will be officially entered.
I’ll leave the comments open on this post until midnight (pacific time) Friday night. I’ll announce the winners sometime over the weekend. I’ll be out of town visiting my sister, so I make no promises on WHEN the announcement will be made, but that it WILL be made next weekend!
So… your scrappin’ style? Tell me all about it, please!
And be sure to go visit the Bloggy Giveaway site for HUNDREDS more giveaways!

My style!?!? Not sure I have one - but I am enjoying getting into Digital Scrapbooking!!!
July 28th, 2008 at 9:41 pm
My scrapping style is eclectic. It includes a lot of elements that I picked up while at the place the photos are of. Receipts, notes, wrappers- other things people would just throw out.
July 28th, 2008 at 9:48 pm
Definitely simple. I wouldn’t mind going back to the days of nothing but photo corners like my grandma used to do!
I do, however, like to look at other people’s hard scrapbooking work!
July 28th, 2008 at 9:54 pm
just starting
July 28th, 2008 at 10:51 pm
oooer cool books!
Lets see… my style is a little simple, a little messy and a little off-centre… a bit like me really! LOL
July 29th, 2008 at 12:45 am
My style is whatever I feel like that day or hour. I’m rather eccentric so my style is usually more eclectic.
July 29th, 2008 at 1:02 am
So, I, personally, don’t scrap, but my mother is heavily involved in the digi-scraposphere (can you guess who she is? :P). Anywhozzles, I’d love to win one of these for her. I enjoy seeing what she can do. Just yesterday, she was working on this lovely black and pink page of a friend’s baby sitting on their cat. I loved it!
July 29th, 2008 at 2:37 am
~ I’m a scrap anything kind of gal~ I don’t have a real set style. I’m a hybrid…digital…Paper scrapper.
I love both of these books and they’ve been on my wish-list for a while. Here’s hoping I win! LOL
((hugs)) Mechelle

I am new to scrapbooking so I don’t have a style yet - but I bet one of these books would help with that - Thanks for the giveaway.
July 29th, 2008 at 6:17 am

I have been working on my sons paper scrapbook but we have so many pictures stored on hte pc looking for some way to use them.
July 29th, 2008 at 7:47 am
Oooh more books! My scrapping style is a mish-mash I guess, I’m always looking for new things to try, love trying different layouts styles… sometimes they are simple and minimal, other times it’s full of elements, sometimes I do extractions…. so I don’t really have a style other than, anything goes… lol.
July 29th, 2008 at 8:17 am
I am ecclectic in my scrappin style, sometimes I want clean streamlined - sometimes I want crazy, element filled pages that tell not only the story but about the persons personality.
July 29th, 2008 at 9:19 am
I’m fairly simple most of the time. I very much admire other styles so I am trying to do those styles more, but I feel I do best with simple and clean! But always learning new things!
July 29th, 2008 at 10:25 am
Well, my basic style is lean, pretty symmetric lines, but I love to layer on the embellishments until it isn’t so simple anymore!
I don’t have either of these books yet, it would be great to win either!

My style is eclectic. I love to digi-scrap, but only if I can print my products to give to family. For paper scrapping, I tend to keep things simple although I like to try new things. I’m just not always confident of my work when I try new things. I’d love to win either book!
July 29th, 2008 at 12:29 pm
I am a simple scrapper (old and simple :-)) Love digital and enjoy the work of Cathy. Love taking her classes at CKU’s.

July 29th, 2008 at 1:30 pm
What kind of scrapper am I? Not clean and simple, definitely not, cuz my favorite style is collage! heheheheh
July 29th, 2008 at 2:37 pm
I’m an eclectic scrapper. I just go with what feels right at the time. Does that mean I’m easy?
July 29th, 2008 at 3:22 pm
When I scrapbook, I’m definitely clean and simple. I like to try new things, but I don’t like to clutter up the page.
July 29th, 2008 at 4:15 pm
I don’t know if it is a style, but I “grew up” on Creative Memories, so a lot of my pages follow ideas in their books.
July 29th, 2008 at 5:08 pm
those look right up my alley. I don’t have much time to scrapbook, so simple has to be my style!
July 29th, 2008 at 5:16 pm
My style is also pretty clean and crisp with straight lines and not too much ’stuff’. I like BIG pictures, but also have a tendency to cram too many pictures on a page because I can’t decide which on “NOT” to use! But I’m always looking for new ideas.
July 29th, 2008 at 5:24 pm
I love clean and simple, not cluttered. I’m a digital scrapper and I’m loving making easy, beautiful BUT simple designs!
Thanks for such a great giveaway!

I am such a HUGE fan of both of these ladies, and I’ve been dying to get my hands on either of these two books! My style various greatly. Currently I’ve been on worn brown look. lol Unsure how to describe it. All my layouts are mainly shades of beige and brown and they all have a very worn look to them.
July 29th, 2008 at 7:35 pm
great giveaway…my style would be more along a classic line I think.
July 29th, 2008 at 7:42 pm
I’ve been scrapbooking for over 11 years now and my style is traditional, which basically means that my pages are photo-focused.
You can see samples at my blog where I am also having a Giveaway for a Creative Memories scrapbook!
July 29th, 2008 at 8:04 pm
My style is quite basic — I’m still learning.
July 30th, 2008 at 3:20 am
I do lots of pictures and stickers right now. I have some fancy scissors too which I like to cut with. I’d like to be better about framing pages with borders and then framing pics with matching borders on the page.
Thanks for this giveaway!
July 30th, 2008 at 7:49 am
Don’t have a style as I am just starting. I have lots of pictures from past vacations I am trying to come up with cute sayings about in my first book.
July 30th, 2008 at 9:08 am
I’ve been doing some digital scrapbooking and I really like it.
July 30th, 2008 at 10:08 am
I didn’t win last time, but maybe with two chances, I can win one this time…I’d love either one of these books. My style is totally simple…I’m all about the pictures….the more I can get on a page, the happier I am…I have an extremely hard time doing the one picture/lots of decor thing even though I like it a lot, just b/c I can’t just pick ONE picture to use. HAHA. Thanks for the giveaway….oh yeah, I subscribe to you in bloglines and read you regularly….that wouldn’t happen to give me an extra chance would it???? LOL. =) =)
July 30th, 2008 at 10:36 am
I am fairly new to scrapbooking but I do like to add a lot of ribbons and some bling.
July 30th, 2008 at 10:47 am
I am fairly new to digital scrapbooking so I don’t think I have a “style” yet! I do like to use 2 or more pictures per page though.
July 30th, 2008 at 10:52 am
I’m a clean and simple scrapper!
July 30th, 2008 at 11:55 am
I would love these! I tend to go a little overboard in my scrapbooking style, so this would help me learn to tone it down a little. Thanks so much for the opportunity to win!
July 30th, 2008 at 12:49 pm
I love hybrid scrapbooking because it’s the best of both worlds. You get to download all the awesome goodies and print out which ones to use. It’s so much easier and neater than buying lots of paper products. Just keep the files stored on your discs until you get ready to print them, then print exactly what you need.
July 30th, 2008 at 1:19 pm
I like colorful and clean. I think too many elements take away from the photographs.
July 30th, 2008 at 2:19 pm
i am just getting back into scrapbooking. my oldest son, asher, has albums and albums and albums . . . my 3 youngest kids don’t have even a page scrapped . . . it’s so sad. so . . . i don’t really know what my style is, that’s why these books would be a great help to me! thanks, kristen

I’d don’t really have a style, I tend to do simpler layouts. I love using sketches like Becky Higgins & Becky Fleck
July 30th, 2008 at 6:56 pm
my style is “get it done” :0
Thanks for the chance to win. Visit mine at http://www.mypreppypurse.blogspot.com

I don’t know if I have a style, but I try to come up with my own layouts. If I get really stuck I look for some inspiration in a magazine or on the web. Lately I’ve been using a lot of rhinestones on my creations for some sparkle. Thanks for the giveaway, these look like great books!
July 30th, 2008 at 11:44 pm
I like my style to be preppy.
July 31st, 2008 at 5:56 am
I am a clean and simple girl too. I like my pictures to be the focus and I like layouts that allow for them to shine. Thanks for the giveaway. I hope I win.

I like to lay my pictures out, then place my embellishments and journaling on the paper before I glue everything down.
July 31st, 2008 at 6:52 am
Unfortunatly i don’t do scrapbooking, I would love to start though, and these books might give me enough motivation to do that.
July 31st, 2008 at 8:42 am
My daughter says my style is “uneven”. My shapes are never symmetrical LOL. Thanks!
July 31st, 2008 at 8:44 am
I love clean and simple designs without all the crazy embellishments. Thanks for the giveaway!
July 31st, 2008 at 9:54 am
I’ve never really been able to describe my style. I am pretty artsy, here and there with everything. My best friend says I am “eclectic”.
July 31st, 2008 at 11:27 am
My style is definetly old-fashioned. I love the “antique” look.
July 31st, 2008 at 11:29 am
hmm… my style is a little random! Girly I guess.
July 31st, 2008 at 1:32 pm
Well I got into digital scrapbooking almost a year ago- I have been designing since Jan- (I have lots of freebies on my blog) I guess that my personal style is simple, bold and a little cutsie… I would love to win either of these great books. I am definitly keeping my fingers crossed on this one! Thanks so much for the great giveaway!

My style is eclectic and random. Some pages are clean and simple some are artsy and even messy. I love adding bits and pieces of memorabilia and household finds. Some pages feature lots of journaling some only a quote. I like variety to keep me interested when scrapping and when looking through the resulting albums.
July 31st, 2008 at 2:59 pm
Just when I think I know my style, I see something I love or create something that is totally not that! More often than not, I think my style is just simple. I like simple embellishments (love using the stapler) and using my own handwriting.
July 31st, 2008 at 6:37 pm
My style is clean and simple leaning towards the modern style.

I love digital scrapbooking and regular paper scrapbooking but I seem to have better luck with digital scrapbooking. The fact that I don’t have to have my whole apartment floor covered with papers, elements, ribbons, stickers, letters, etc. makes digi scrapping easier.
I have a digi scrap blog where I post layouts I have done. Its called scrapbooking mommy. I love making layouts of my son mostly and other family members and my close friends..

I have an unusual style…or so I’m told. I like journaling, using my unique photography, and using many layers and patterns.
I love browsing books to get ideas. I would so appreciate either of these! Thanks for the opprotunity!
July 31st, 2008 at 7:41 pm
These look great! I’m new at scrapbooking, so I need all the help I can get.
My scrapbooking style is still developing, but I love the vintage and mildly grungy look. I also like ribbons and buttons.
July 31st, 2008 at 10:10 pm
I haven’t been doing scrapping for all that long so I don’t really think I have developed a style yet. If I were to develop a style, I’d say classic. Thanks!
July 31st, 2008 at 11:17 pm
My scrpping style is simple. I like to scrap, but I don’t have much time. So I make my pages simple.
July 31st, 2008 at 11:18 pm
These look great. I’m new to scrapbooking and they would really help me figure out some styles. Thanks for the giveaway!
August 1st, 2008 at 1:09 am
My style is disorganized. lol
August 1st, 2008 at 3:09 am
I don’t scrapbook. I use scrapbook supplies for other papercraft projects. However, I am interested in learning digital scrapbooking. Can you recommend software for this?
Please include me and thanks so much,

My style is very linear and simple. I’ve been experimenting with monochromatic pages too. Thanks!

Mine is very clean and precise. I am also into digital scrapbooking too.
