Menu Plan Monday - and a free download!
My husband and I have been working on some new healthy eating habits, which for this month include a challenge to ourselves to NOT eat fast food or drink soda - not ONE TIME - this month of May. We are notorious for buying groceries and then still taking the quick and easy way out several times a week with McDonald’s and Burger King and all the rest. Our wallets are slim, and our waistlines are NOT. Thus, the challenge.
What does that have to do with digi-scrappin’? Not a whole lot, I realize. Unless you count the fact that I no longer have a big Route 44 Diet Coke from Sonic sitting next to me when I’m working on my computer. (And believe me, I am missing it!) Well, that and I decided to make our menu plan a little more exciting by digi-scrappin’ it each week. And I decided to share a blank version with anyone who visits my blog and wants it!
So, here is our menu for this week (started yesterday). Please bear in mind that for lunch, it’s just me and my 3 year old son… and my 1 year old daughter who is only just starting to actually eat “real” food… so the lunch menu is pretty boring. Interestingly enough, that’s just how I like it. Boring = easy, and that’s what I need these days! You can click on it to see it in better detail.
And you can click HERE to download a free BLANK version to use for yourself. The menu planner is in JPG format, and should fit nicely on an 8.5×11 sheet of paper. The papers I used for the planner are courtesy of Dani Mogstad of DesignByDani.com

Thanks for the menu plan digiscrap. Now to figure out how to post it on a stainless steel fridge.

What a wonderful idea. I will pass this on to my busy mom friends. They will love it. Actually, I think my hubby might like the idea of knowing what we will have everyday.

Cute menu banner, I’m not very technical so I had no idea either how to use it for my menu but I do think it’s very pretty
Have a great week!

Someone at Digishoptalk.com posted your link in a thread looking for blogs to read. I clicked, and what’s almost the first thing I read? AAAAGGGHHHHH!!!! I MISS MY SONIC!!!!!!! A Route 44 Dr Pepper is crying out to me and I DON’T HAVE A SONIC!!!!!! Ok, hystrionics over.. maybe. I moved from Texas to IL three years ago. The closest Sonic to me now is over a two hour drive away in a city I’m not familiar with. Anyway, LOL.. nice blog, I added to favorites, so, bless your heart, you will now be subjected to my irrelevant and probably irreverent comments on a semi regular basis. Nice to meet you! (THIS is what happens when Zyrtec goes OTC. I’m usually not this obnoxious but allergy season has struck..me down)
