Well, it was bound to happen… things have been going so well on the “keeping it all together, and getting it ALL done” front… and then all of a sudden I was NOT keeping it all together, OR getting it all done.

In fact, as I type this tonight, my living room is a disaster (of toys), the boy’s room is an accident waiting to happen (picture Lincoln Logs covering 98% of their floor), the kitchen is full of dirty dishes, and I have piles of laundry in every basket in the house.  Unclean piles of laundry.

In case you don’t believe it’s “that” bad…

My four year old ran out of underwear today.  He tried to find some in his big brother’s drawer.  That drawer was empty too.  So… he headed to DADDY’S drawer… and much laughter and hilarity ensued among the children, as he wore the underwear pulled up to his SHOULDERS.  (Too bad Daddy wasn’t here to see… although he might not have appreciated the funny-ness of the situation as much as the kids did).

At least they’re having a good time!

Anyway… all that to say this… I know I haven’t blogged in a few days.  I know I missed Thrifty Thursday this week.  I have several email from folks who are probably disappointed that their ad didn’t show up here.  And for that, I’m sorry. If you are one of those people who sent me an email and now feel ignored, I apologize.

I plan to start fresh, with regular blogging tomorrow…

Right after I wash ten loads of laundry, do two loads of dishes, and pick up about a million Lincoln Logs.
