I had to move this website today. 

All week (and possibly longer), I’ve been having issues with the site not loading – for me and for other people.  Obviously, that’s NOT good.  It sort of defeats the purpose of writing posts every day, if you and all the hundreds of other interested people can’t get here to read and enjoy!  (And yes, that was typed with my tongue in my cheek… or my fingers crossed… or whatever is the equivalent of being sarcastic with a keyboard).

Anyway, I made the executive decision to change website hosts, and then spent all morning waiting for the nameservers to change.  (That’s tech talk for “hurry up and wait until I can set up the site on the new server”).

Thankfully the move went smoothly.  At least I think it did.  If things look wonky on your end and it’s still not loading for you, can you wait until tomorrow to tell me, because it was JUST stressful enough (moving a database, hoping everything makes the transition, etc), that I’m too tired to fix anything tonight.

Except of course if things look wonky on your end and it’s still not loading, you won’t be able to tell me.  So nevermind!

And in the midst of all the transition, I haven’t forgotten about the giveaway… I’m leaving it open until tomorrow when I’ll be in a better mood to dispense a gift certificate.  So, if you didn’t leave a comment on yesterday’s post, go do that NOW before I pick a winner!
