So, I was talking with a friend the other day about perfectionism, and how some of us have that “weird” kind of perfectionism that says, “if I can’t do it well, I won’t do it at all”.   You’ve heard of that, right?  The all-or-nothing variety…  it accounts for my messy house (parts of it are clean, because I can keep up on THOSE parts), the lack of letters and cards I send (I can’t send EVERYONE a card, so NO ONE gets one)… and it accounts for the lack of posting these last few months here at DigiScrapChat.

It’s not the only reason I haven’t posted.  Life has just been in the way, in good ways and bad ways.  And apparently I needed a break.  I say apparently because I wasn’t planning on it, but it happened and I knew all through it that I needed to just ride it out until the break was over.

That time has come!  I feel refreshed and excited to be blogging again, especially about Digi-Scrappin’.  The blog might be a bit different than it was before – if anything, it will be more personal.  And I don’t think that’s a bad thing. I hope to continue with guest posts (hi Monique – you should have email soon!), and interviews with designers and digi-scrappers.  But, I might also post a few more of my own layouts and artwork, and talk about my kids and family – because that’s really what it’s all about, right?
